BMW discontinues first generation connecteddrive assist subscriptions

Your BMW with first generation ConnectedDrive Assist is still providing you sheer driving. Until you discovered it's no longer possible to renew the ConnectedDrive subscription because BMW no longer supports your model caused by age.

Because life is in motion.

BMW Assist provides you with a suite of safety, security and convenience services that add peace of mind, confidence and convenience throughout your day.

BMW Assist intelligently integrates the driver, the vehicle and the environment as part of BMW's global ConnectedDrive initiative. Combining GPS location technology with hands-free wireless communication BMW Assist connects you to a response specialist for help with almost everything, from an emergency situation to directions and real time traffic information (RTTI).

Milestones, present and future.

Meeting the demand for intelligent and connected mobility through BMW ConnectedDrive and BMW Connected technology is not a future goal for the BMW Group, but a concrete and relevant objective for today. The digital services are focused on today's mobility needs and ensure that the concept of mobility is constantly evolving in a way that truly benefits consumers.

Today the future stops for you, or not!

Navituning  has proven that statements of BMW regarding ending support are unnecessary, inaccurate and most of all customer unfriendly. For many BMW models, upgrades  are available world wide which proves BMW (aftersales) isn't totally honest regarding why the age of your BMW matters regarding connecteddrive services. Most of the ConnectedDrive services can be restored via paired mobile phones.
